Upgrade and renewal discounts
We give existing customers two kinds of automatic discount: a renewal discount when you renew a licence you already own, and an upgrade credit when you move from a product you own to a larger one. Both apply automatically when you’re logged in — there’s no coupon code to enter. You’ll see the discount on the product page, in your cart, at checkout, and on your order.
Renewal discount
When you renew a product you’ve previously bought, you get a percentage off the current price. The discount steps down the longer you wait, but it never disappears.

Notes:
- The discount is a percentage off the current list price, not the price you originally paid.
- It’s calculated per product from that licence’s expiry date, so two products you own can be at different discount levels at the same time.
- Renewing resets the clock: your new licence runs 12 months and the discount returns to 30% for the next cycle.
- Lifetime products don’t expire, so they don’t have a renewal discount.
Example: You bought a 1-year licence that has now been expired for two months. The product currently sells for €100. You’re in the “1 to 6 months” band, so you renew at €80.
Upgrade credit
When you own a product and want to move to a larger one (for example, more sites, or a lifetime licence), we credit part of what you paid against the price of the bigger product. You only pay the difference.
The credit is a percentage of what you actually paid, based on how long ago you bought:

Notes:
- Lifetime products always give 100% credit and never expire — useful when you move from, say, a 1-site lifetime licence to a 5-site lifetime licence.
- The credit is taken off the larger product’s price; you never pay less than €0 (if your credit is bigger than the new product’s price, the upgrade is free, but we don’t pay the difference back).
- An upgrade can’t make the new product cost more than buying it outright.
Example: You paid €100 for a 1-site licence 8 months ago and upgrade to a €150 product. You’re in the “6 to 12 months” band (75%), so you get €75 off and pay €75.
Upgrading more than once
You can keep upgrading. When you upgrade, the credit you earned is locked in to your new purchase and carries forward — it doesn’t shrink afterwards. So if you go from a 1-year licence to a 1-site lifetime licence, and later to a 5-site lifetime licence, the value of both earlier purchases is carried toward the final one.
Each upgrade can only be used once: once you’ve upgraded a licence, that specific licence can’t be traded in again (its value now lives in the product you upgraded to).
If you refund an upgrade purchase, the credit that was applied to it is forfeited.
Where to find your discounts
- Product page — the discounted price and a note showing the discount or credit appear automatically when you’re logged in and eligible.
- My Account → Renewals — lists products you can renew, with the renewal price.
- My Account → Upgrades — lists upgrades available to you, with the credit applied.
- Cart, checkout and order — the discount or credit is shown on the line item, and recorded on your order.
If you think a discount should apply but you’re not seeing it, make sure you’re logged in to the account you purchased with, and contact us through Discord if it still looks wrong.
