How to install Super Speedy AJAX Prices, activate your licence so you receive automatic updates, and keep it current.

Installing the plugin
- Download the zip from your account at dev.superspeedyplugins.com → My Account → Downloads (or use the file you were sent).
- In WordPress: Plugins → Add New → Upload Plugin → choose the zip → Install Now → Activate.
- Requirements: WooCommerce active, WordPress 5.0+, PHP 7.0+. If WooCommerce isn’t active you’ll see an admin notice and the plugin stays dormant until it is.

Where the settings live
On activation a Super Speedy menu appears in the admin sidebar — shared by every Super Speedy plugin:
- Super Speedy (top level) — the licence + updates screen for all your Super Speedy plugins.
- Super Speedy → AJAX Prices — this plugin’s own settings (see Settings Reference).
Activating your licence (for updates)
Updates are tied to a licence key:
- Go to the Super Speedy top-level menu.
- Enter your License Key and click Save Settings.
- The licence table lists each installed Super Speedy plugin and its status (valid / expired / exceeded / invalid).
One key activates updates for every Super Speedy plugin on that site.
“Recheck Licenses”
After a renewal or upgrade, click Recheck Licenses at the top of the licence table to refresh status immediately. It bypasses both the local cache and the licensing server’s own cache, so a just-completed purchase registers without waiting.
How updates work
- With a valid licence, new versions appear in the normal Dashboard → Updates and Plugins screens, like any plugin — click update as usual.
- A plugin must be active to update in place. To update without activating, download the latest zip from your account and upload it over the old version.
No licence / expired licence
The plugin keeps working — licensing controls updates only, not functionality. Without a valid key you simply won’t receive new versions (including security and compatibility fixes), so keep it active.
Renewals
- Renew from My Account at dev.superspeedyplugins.com (renewals are discounted).
- After renewing, click Recheck Licenses so the new expiry registers right away.
Moving to a new site
A licence covers a set number of sites. If you see “Website limit exceeded”, either deactivate the licence on an old site or add more sites from your account.
Troubleshooting licence & updates
| Symptom | Fix |
|---|---|
| “Unable to check for updates” | Your server must allow outbound HTTPS to dev.superspeedyplugins.com — check firewall / loopback / DNS. |
| Status still wrong after renewing | Click Recheck Licenses (clears both caches). |
| Update not appearing | Confirm the plugin is active and the key is valid, then check Dashboard → Updates. |
| Licence key field looks empty after saving | It’s a password field — that’s expected; re-saving overwrites it. |
